Your handmade art jewelry deserves a beautiful "frame." Learn to handcraft your own chain from scratch, or improve your chain making skills and your necklace with professional tips, tricks, and design ideas. Beginning through advanced students welcome. No kit required; you will use your own materials.

Attention, beachcombers! If you fill your pockets with stones and beach glass, this workshop will show you how to transform that bewitching bounty into jewelry. Learn tricks for simple drilling and mounting and start wearing your vacation memories. Open to all skill levels. Materials kit available for purchase in class. Design and create a three-dimensional sculpture using "found objects," tidbits with an interesting shape, patina, or sense of mystery. Bring small found objects to add to a copper sheet that's approximately 12"x12". Some objects available in studio. No experience necessary. A materials fee of $60 will be due in the studio. Learn the basics of the lost wax casting process using wax, natural materials, and found objects to make fabulous jewelry. The essential steps of investing, firing, casting, and finishing will be covered. Silver for casting may be purchased from the instructor at market price. Familiarity with torch use is required.

Metal clay can seem like magic – pliable and versatile in its raw state, it transforms in the kiln to solid metal. Explore different metal clays and techniques, including setting stones, making bezels, hollow forming and more. Open to all skill levels. Clay and stones may be purchased in the studio.
